It is absolutely shameful how all of you would be Gurus cover each others backs. How you continue to pander your overpriced "secrets" to the masses. People that are so overwhelmed by all that keeps being thrown at them, they want to believe there really is a secret to success which you all posses. They forget that action, and not another course is the real answer.

<blockquote><strong>Hi, Eric. Thanks for commenting.

Am I a "would be Guru"? I'm not sure if you're talking about me. I don't find "guru" to be a particularly bad word. It just means "known expert" in a particular field. But also I don't consider myself one. I've got my fair share of deals squarely under my belt. Done over a hundred wholesale deals, been a landlord a few times over for the last 9-ish years, done a few other types of deals...but I really consider myself more an advocate for my fellow real estate investor. At least I do my darndest to present myself that way. If I've ever come of like I see myself as a "guru" (positive or negative connotation) then it was a mistake.

I make no bones about the fact that I aim to make money from this website here. Just as in the real estate biz, I'm not in it for my health. I'm an entrepreneur through and through, and there's no need to apologize for that.

But I refuse to sell my soul or sacrifice my integrity in the process. And there's no need to. I may make less money, but I can sleep at night and look my girls (wife and daughters) squarely in the eyes and know they can be proud of me. I also serve a God who's got some pretty lofty guidelines for me to live up to as well...so I do my best in that arena too. :-)

Long story short...I'm not sure if you're talking about me here or not, but I hear your pain. And frankly, I agree. Action beats buying another course or attending another seminar any day of the week. I have no problem buying stuff or selling stuff for that matter. And education is critical if you want to shorten your learning curve and waste less money and/or time while you're moving forward. But it can be (and all too often is) a poor excuse for not taking action.

Thanks for the reminder.

My best,
