Rentomatic looks promising. It was just a matter of time until landlord software like this became available. Now if it'll just go open source...

I've used rentomatic to create ads online. The ads are amazing, it lets you track how many people are looking at your ad, and posts it on craigslist, oodle, google, etc. It used to be free so I haven't used much of the other features since you have to pay now but the ads are worth the $9 investment. The ads I generated had over a $1,000 views and we got about 20 calls and 100 emails and selected a great tenant. I just cancelled the account after we selected a tenant but you can always pay again to open the account back up and everthing is still saved as it was before. I would highly recommend it this for the ads. Even our prospective tenants mentioned how nice the ads were.

I'd like to know if someone can recommend a website that allows renters to pay online. I'd appreciate it.

As a landlord myself, I can testify to the fact that managing rental property is certainly not for the faint of heart, and that challenge only multiplies with each new property you add to your portfolio.
A couple of new companies have surfaced on the web, promising tools to help make small-time property management an easier job to content with.
