Faith Corner

I believeWelcome to my Faith Corner!

First let me say flat out that you do not have to belong to my faith to come here, learn about real estate and join in the discussion.  Anyone interested in real estate investing who wants to engage with me in learning and sharpening our skills together is a perfect fit here and is warmly welcomed.

What’s more, I feel blessed that REItips.com is an investor community rich with diversity, filled with subscribers of many faiths.

At the same time, please know that I am entirely unashamed of my faith.  I am authentically who I am: a Christian – a follower of Jesus Christ – and it’s my true honor and privilege to have any opportunity to openly share my faith with you.  My life is far from pristine, but I’ve been richly blessed even still and feel compelled to give credit where credit is due for this.

Please rest assured I’m not here to play the “faith card”. My aim is not to offend you, persuade you, oppress you, push you, pull you or judge you. I just want to be completely honest and share some really Good News for anyone who wants to hear it.

Here’s a fact: My life is completely changed because of my relationship with God. I’m not the man I once was.  I once was lost and my heart was tragically stained by sin (though I didn’t really know it).

Now I’ve been found and saved. I have a personal relationship (yes, personal relationship) with the Creator of the universe and with His Son, Jesus Christ. My sins are no longer held against me, and the debt that comes with those sins has been paid in full.  In other words, my sins have been forgiven…forever. Gone.  Buh-bye.

No, I’m not perfect now – far from it actually (just ask my wife!).  But that’s what’s cool. It’s not about me being perfect – not yesterday, today or tomorrow.  It’s about the One who was perfect for me, who died for me, and with whom I now have an eternal, secure seat in Heaven.

The best part is it was all a free gift. I just had to believe and accept it. Because yeah, God loves me just that much.

Look, I don’t know your circumstances. I don’t know how good or bad you think you are. It doesn’t matter really. Just know that we’re all in the same boat.  Everyone, me and you included, has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.  And what’s more, every single one of us deserves the full punishment for that sin – eternal damnation in Hell.

john 3:16But the good news – the really freakin’ awesome news – is that no matter who you are or what your circumstances might be, you too can be forgiven. Yes, God loves you just that much too.  You can be fully restored, become a new person with a new hope, have a personal relationship with God you never imagined and experience a freedom you’ve probably never thought possible.

No, your life won’t become suddenly perfect. But you’ll be forgiven and finally know what it means to be truly alive.

If you want to know more about what it means to be forgiven and experience a personal relationship with my friend Jesus, just ask.  I’d love to share more with you. Also, here’s a page from my home church’s website that explains it all clearly and concisely.

Thanks again for stopping by my Faith Corner here.  I hope you find something truly meaningful, and as always I welcome your frank comments.  May God richly bless you and yours.

Very Sincerely,

Johnpaul Moses
